Our Church
The Church serves the suburban area of Pheasey and Park Farm estates. We are situated at the cross-roads of Collingwood and Hillingford Avenues. we have a fully refurbished modern building with excellent facilities for community use, with very good provision for disabled people in our area. The former school building across the road now houses a Medical centre, the Neighbourhood Office and Library, also youth centre facilities. The Methodist Church at Romney Way closed in December 1994 with the Cross then brought to Beacon Church
We have a shared ministry, with the vicar, and Rev
Helen Jobling the Methodist Circuit Superintendent. We at Beacon Church are also looking the concept of 'clustering', i.e. the sharing of Ministry and Mission with the neighbouring Streetly and Great Barr (St Margaret's) Churches.
